Monique Bidell, PharmD:
Monique received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in 2012. She decided to pursue a residency to develop her clinical pharmacy and critical thinking skills. Monique's professional interests include infectious diseases (particularly HIV/AIDS), solid organ transplant and academia. She is looking forward to a challenging yet rewarding year at BIDMC and hopes to complete a PGY2 residency. Though originally from Albany, New York, Monique now considers Boston to be her home. Outside of work she enjoys art, yoga, going to Red Sox games, and exploring Boston. She is very thankful for the support of her fiancé, friends and family in the pursuit of her goals.
Jessica Rimsans, PharmD:
Jessica Rimsans grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston campus, in May 2012. Her professional interests include cardiology, critical care, and academia. She is looking forward to interacting with the well-rounded BIDMC staff, teaching opportunities, and precepting pharmacy students this year. Her research project this year will focus on evaluating the use of dabigatran in patients admitted to the medical center. Outside of pharmacy, Jess enjoys skiing, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. She is grateful for the support she has received from her friends and family and recognizes their contributions have helped make her accomplishments and successes possible.
Katie Hackenson, PharmD:
Katie Hackenson received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May of 2012. Katie is excited to explore all of the various pharmacy career paths during her PGY1 residency. She is originally from Mendon, Massachusetts. Coming from a small town, Katie enjoys taking full advantage of all that Boston has to offer - Red Sox games, the Boston Aquarium, restaurants, and shopping. Katie shares credit for her accomplishments with her family and friends, whose love and support have helped make her successes possible.
Adam Diamond, PharmD:
Adam Diamond received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in May 2012. He is originally from Marlboro, NJ and enjoys living in Boston and taking advantage of all the city has to offer. His professional interests include critical care, cardiology, infectious disease, and academia. Adam chose to complete a PGY1 residency to expand his clinical knowledge and improve his critical thinking skills as a clinical pharmacist. He is looking forward to the numerous teaching opportunities and clinical rotations in the upcoming year. Outside of pharmacy, Adam enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the city of Boston, and spending time with his family and friends. Adam is very thankful for the support of his girlfriend, family, and friends in pursing his career goals.
