The Clinical Program
The clinical fellowship provides a broad and intense clinical exposure consisting of direct patient care in the hematology-oncology ambulatory unit, the inpatient hematology-oncology service, and the inpatient general medicine services. These activities are supplemented by attending rounds and educational conferences. During this time the fellow assumes a great deal of responsibility for patient management in an environment in which faculty assistance is readily at hand.
