Welcome to the Department of Anesthesia Fellowships Website!
We are happy you have chosen to consider our programs and proudly offer four American Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited fellowships in the subspecialties of Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Critical Care, Obstetric Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
Our educational mission is to develop leaders in our profession through excellent clinical experiences, strong mentorship, innovative teaching curricula and a flexible program of unique offerings that can be adapted to meet each learner’s needs. This is accomplished via relentless pursuit of excellence through continuous quality improvement and creativity grounded in sound educational theory and evidence. In recognition of our success, our core residency program, adult cardiothoracic, critical care and pain medicine fellowships all received the maximum ten-year cycle under the ACGME Next Accreditation System. Our newly ACGME-accredited Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship is slated for a site visit in 2015.
