Mission Statement
The Center for Faculty Development is dedicated to facilitating the academic and professional advancement of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center faculty to their fullest potential in the areas of patient care, research and education.
Vision
The vision of CFD for achieving the goals of academic and professional success of our faculty includes providing:

educational courses and seminars that will promote academic growth and development on topics that will improve research, patient care, teaching, leadership and mentorship skills

seminars on topics specifically related to family, women's careers, basic science investigators in a hospital environment, managing stress and the challenges of work/life balance and increasing diversity in our workplace
