BIDMC Lactation Pump Room
If you wish to access one of the rooms upon returning to work from maternity leave, please contact Althea Lawrence at x7-4695 or via email alawrenc@bidmc.harvard.edu. To use the room on the East Campus, she will coordinate with Public Safety to have access to the room added to your swipe ID card. If you do not have a swipe card, you can get one at Public Safety after working with Althea.
On the West Campus, the room can be accessed by obtaining the swipe card key at the West Campus Information Desk. You would request the key to the HR room. The card key is good for the day, so you would need to get a new key each shift, but you can use it throughout your shift.
If you have any questions or concerns or if you are having trouble breastfeeding or pumping, the Lactation Consultants on the East Campus (7-5765) would be happy to speak with you.
