Dr. Jatin Dave is a geriatrician and a hospitalist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He graduated from the Gujarat University-B. J. Medical College, India in 1994. After graduating from his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, he completed a general internal medicine fellowship at New York University. Dr. Dave went on to complete a Harvard Geriatric Medicine Fellowship and also received a Master's in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. He received the "Teacher of the Year" and "Scholar of the Year" awards during his residency.
Dr. Dave has taught various levels of learners from medical students to faculty on common topics in geriatric medicine. He is also a recipient of the prestigious "Geriatric Academic Career Award," a five-year long career development award for academic geriatrician.
As a Rabkin Fellow in Medical Education, Dr. Dave focused on the development and implementation of a Fellows-as-Teachers program for geriatric fellows. The program was well received and highly rated by the fellows
