The Junior Faculty Leadership Course is co-hosted by the Office for Academic Careers and Faculty Development and the Office of Professional Development in Medical Education.
This is a one day program aimed at developing leadership skills for BIDMC faculty at the Instructor and Assistant Professor academic rank.

5:00 CME hours will be provided
Keynote Speaker: Dr, Sanjiv Chopra, Professor of Medicine "Leadership for the 21st Century"
Other topics will include:
- A Realistic Approach: Achieving Leadership in Small Steps
- Conflict Resolution
- How to Lead a Meeting
In addition, a lunchtime panel discussion will also be provided discussing how to manage specific leadership issues. Panel members will include Dr. Terry Maratos-Flier, Professor of Medicine, BIDMC and Dr. David Roberts, Associate Professor of Medicine, BIDMC facilitated by Lori Newman MEd, Moderator.
