The Global Health Program for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center



Our Mission

The BIDMC Global Health Program aims to train leaders in global health to design, manage, improve and evaluate global public health programs that address the health problems of the world's neediest populations.

Program Features

There is currently a Global Health curriculum with talks held regularly and Journal Club held once a month.  Everyone is welcome to attend. See the  schedule

Residents in any categorical training program can apply for the Global Health Program, however requirements and eligibility may differ between departments and specialties.  Please check with your department individually about the program details.

Please visit the individual residency program's website (below) for specific Global Health curriculum, eligibility and funding information.  Other departments have supported and/or are willing to support residents within the Global Health Program.  Please contact them directly to inquire about possibilities.
