Hematology/Oncology Fellowship

Shapiro Clinical Center Lobby

The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is designed to nurture the development of future leaders and to provide superior clinical training in a supportive environment. The hematology and oncology services at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are fully integrated into one service, with world-class experts in both disciplines available to fellows as instructors, mentors, and future colleagues. There are abundant opportunities for mentorship, additional training throughout Harvard, and collaboration with other services through multidisciplinary conferences. The program's goal is to produce scholars and future leaders in the field who will devote their careers, in different proportions, to clinical care, teaching, and clinical or basic research. The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship provides trainees with the opportunity to develop outstanding depth and expertise in the fields of their choice and is designed to meet the professional and educational goals of all of its fellows.
