Nancy Lurie Marks Family Foundation

Since 2005, the Nancy Lurie Marks Family Foundation has awarded BIDMC more than $3 million for the study of autism.

Funding is spanning leading-edge areas of autism research, including the study of recessive genes and innate immunity and thalamic dysfunction, and improving language skills in Autism Spectrum Disorder patients by non-invasively modulating prefrontal activity in the brain.
