Lawrence J. and Anne Rubenstein Charitable Foundation
In December 2007, the Lawrence J. and Anne Rubenstein Charitable Foundation awarded $100,000 to BIDMC’s Palliative Care Program, which addresses medical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and families at the Medical Center.
This funding will go toward clinical social work support in a bereavement program, developing palliative care liaisons/champions on each clinical in-patient unit of the Medical Center, and professional development of faculty and staff.
