Give to BIDMC
Boston Marathon
Hope. Healing. Humanity.
In the wake of the tragic events that unfolded at the Boston Marathon on April 15, many friends within the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center community have reached out to ask how they can help. Below are ways you can provide support.
Give to the BIDMC Boston Marathon Relief Fund
The events of April 15 changed the lives of so many—particularly those who were seriously injured in the attack, a number of whom were treated at BIDMC. In response to this tragedy, we have created the BIDMC Boston Marathon Relief Fund to support both the immediate and longer-term needs of patients, families, and caretakers impacted by such devastating, life-altering events. Your gift to the fund is a meaningful way to show your support.
Give to The One Fund Boston
Also, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino announced the formation of The One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15. For more information or to contribute, visit onefundboston.org.
Support our runners
This year BIDMC’s Boston Marathon Team raised more than $75,000 to support our efforts to eliminate health disparities, cure disease, improve patient care, and educate the next generation of clinicians. Make a gift in honor of these incredible men and women, whose dedication, passion, and commitment serve as a reminder of what makes the Boston Marathon, and this city, so special.
