9/11 Blood Drive
Join BIDMC, the American Red Cross and the Boston Red Sox for the eighth annual 'Day of Remembrance Blood Drive' at Fenway Park to honor those lost so others may survive.
As Sept. 11th approaches, the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) community will once again participate in what has become an annual tradition – a trip to Fenway Park to give blood.
Please join the American Red Cross, Boston Red Sox, BIDMC, Boston City Hall, Boston Police, Boston Fire, Boston EMS and Legal Sea Foods to give the gift of life on Saturday, September 11th. According to the American Red Cross, the 9/11 Day of Remembrance Blood Drive has now become the largest single-day, multi-location blood drive across New England.
Donors will receive a Red Sox goodie bag, commemorative T-shirt, souvenir reusable tote bag and a chance to win Red Sox tickets. Plus, the World Series trophies will be on display for photos!
Give Blood on September 11, 2010On Saturday, September 11, generous donors can give blood at Fenway Park, Gate D (Yawkey Way) from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Day of Remembrance Blood Drive extends to locations across New England to honor those lost so others may survive. |
