A Word about Interpreter Services
The medical center provides patients with interpreter services in more than 30 languages, including American Sign Language. Staff are trained in medical terminology, ethics, professional standards, confidentiality and neutrality. Even if you speak English, you may find that during serious illness, particularly when you are undergoing tests and procedures, that it is easier for you and your family to understand information in your own language.
