Schedule a AAA Screening
Are You at Risk for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm?
You may be eligible for a Medicare screening
Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) can be deadly, but they can also be prevented and treated. This balloon-like weak spot in your central artery may not cause symptoms until it's too late. If you're over 60, if you smoke or if you have a family history, schedule a screening with an expert vascular surgeon today.
Qualified Medicare recipients are entitled to a free, one-time screening to detect abdominal aortic aneurysms. You may be eligible within the first 12 months of your enrollment in Medicare. To qualify, if you are a man, you must have smoked at least 100 cigarettes during your life. Men and women with a family history of AAA may also be eligible.
