About Dr. Sanda

Dr. Sanda is Director of BIDMC’s Prostate Care Center. Prior to joining BIDMC in 2003, he was a tenured Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Urology Research at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sanda currently is leading several National Cancer Institute-funded clinical studies evaluating quality of life after prostate cancer treatment. He also heads a National Institutes of Health-funded laboratory investigating prostate cancer immunology and biomarkers; his cancer research has received numerous academic awards.
