Your Appointment
Welcome to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Podiatry Division in Boston. We look forward to meeting your Podiatric needs. To make sure that you get the most out of your appointment, we need your cooperation. The following list describes ways that will help us help you the most:
Attendance
Please make every effort to keep your scheduled appointment. If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your appointment to fill out all necessary forms. You may download and complete the Medical History Form prior to your appointment and bring it with you.
Cancellations
If you find that you are unable to make it to your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. A minimum of 24 hours notice is appreciated. However, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible to increase our ability to provide our services in a timely fashion to all who need them.
Insurance Coverage
We accept most insurance plans. If you have questions about your particular insurance coverage, call the information number on your the back of your insurance ID card. During pre-registration, we advise you of the specific forms that you should bring with you to your first visit to secure insurance coverage. Please bring your insurance card. If you have a managed insurance program, please ensure that your referral is in order. Please notify us immediately of any changes in your insurance coverage.
Co-pays
If your insurance calls for a co-pay, we require that you pay at the front desk at the time of each visit.
Clothing
If you are coming for orthotic devices, please wear the appropriate shoes. Wear loose fitting casual clothing that allows you to walk as comfortably as possible. Women should wear slacks and no pantyhose.
Parking
Parking is available nearby at either the Pilgrim Road Garage or the 110 Francis Street Garage. There is a fee for parking.
