Our Team
The Head and Neck Surgery team is multidisciplinary to ensure that each patient receives well-coordinated care by specialists in head and neck surgery, radiology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and other appropriate specialites, as well as healthcare professionals in speech and swallowing, social work, nutrition, and other areas. Our team has extensive experience treating people with these often-complex conditions.
Each week, our core team of head and neck specialists meets to discuss each patient's unique situation and develop a tailored treatment plan that offers the best possible outcomes with the fewest possible side effects. When appropriate, other BIDMC specialists and healthcare professionals are consulted and participate in the patient's care plan and treatment.
