It is with great pleasure that the Institute for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery welcomes world-renowned surgeon
Herbert Zeh III, MD, of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Division of Surgical Oncology, who will be visiting the Institute in January 2013.

Dr. Zeh is a well-known expert in surgical treatment of patients with pancreatic disease, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and Johns Hopkins University's Residency and Fellowship programs.
Dr. Zeh is currently working on various research projects targeting pancreatic cancer treatments as well as surgical treatments such as robotic-assisted distal pancreatectomies and the robotic-assisted Whipple procedure.
It is the Institute's hope that Dr. Zeh can assist in the care of our current patient population and educate our surgical residents about the most advanced robotic techniques used to treat hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease while here with us in Boston.
