Biosketch:
Graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1971 and went on to complete an internship in pediatrics and a residency in diagnostic radiology at New England Medical Center, Boston. In 1976, he joined the staff of Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, Milford, where he served as Chairman of Radiology from 1990 to 1998. From 1991 to 1998, Dr. Gross was also the Supervising Radiologist in the Department of Mammography at the Milford-Whitinsville hospital as well as the University of Massachusetts Medical Center-Tri-River Health Center in Uxbridge, MA. Dr. Gross joined BIDMC Radiology in 1998 and spends the majority of his time in the BIDMC outpatient offices in Lexington, Chelsea and Brookline interpreting mammography and ultrasound studies. He is also a co-investigator in the American College of Radiology-sponsored national research trial comparing conventional mammography with digital mammography.
