Lost & Found
The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Public Safety Department serves as the central collection point for all lost & found items on medical center property. If you believe you have lost an item please contact the Public Safety office via telephone or stop by the office located on Farr 1. You may also report the lost item using the report form to the right. If an item that you reported lost is recovered you will be contacted to make arrangements to pick up the item. If you believe your item was stolen as opposed to lost, you will need to file a larceny report with the department. To file a report you may stop by the Public Safety office or contact the department to have an officer dispatched to your location. Please note that larceny reports cannot be taken over the telephone.
If you have located an item that may have been lost by someone else, please bring the item to the Public Safety office or give it to one of the department's officers.
Please be advised that a valid form of photo ID (driver's license or passport) will be required of all persons wishing to claim found property. A valid description of the property will also be required in order to verify the owner's identity.
