Breast Pathology Consultation Service
The Breast Pathology Consultation Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has expanded and is available to provide enhanced consultation services for difficult and problematic breast cases to physicians featuring three internationally recognized experts in breast pathology, Stuart J. Schnitt, MD, James L. Connolly, MD and Laura C. Collins, MD, two breast pathology fellows, a dedicated consult secretary and at least a preliminary diagnosis within 24 hours of receipt of the case.
The Breast Pathology Consultation Service would like to welcome Nicole B. Johnson, MD and Hannah L. Gilmore, MD to the team. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital where she completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as fellowship training in cytopathology. Dr. Gilmore is a graduate of the BIDMC residency training program and completed her fellowship training in breast pathology at our institution.Both are involved in our multidisciplinary breast cancer clinics, radiologic-pathology correlation conferences and with time will provide increasing contributions to the breast consultation service.
