In an effort to help promote breast cancer awareness month, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham teamed up with the Coppola Properties and Sklar Family in Partnership with Viridian to deck out the Needham Junior Football & Cheerleading squads in pink. Each Saturday throughout the month of October, the football players were given pink socks and armbands to wear and the cheerleaders were given pink socks and pink ribbons. The fields were awash in pink.
