Mark E. Haffenreffer, MD, will join Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians and relocate his office from Needham Orthopedics and Sports Medicine to
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. Dr. Haffenreffer's new office is located on the ground floor of BID-Needham in Orthopedics & Specialty Clinics.
Beginning November 15, Dr. Haffenreffer will see patients on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and the fourth Monday of each month. To make an appointment, please call

Dr. Haffenreffer has been associated with BID-Needham for more than 35 years. He began his career at BID-Needham as Chief of Orthopedics in 1983 after working as Chief Resident at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic program at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. A prominent orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Haffenreffer has also held appointments at area hospitals such as New England Baptist Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Dr. Haffenreffer's clinical interests include minimally invasive joint replacements, knee arthroscopy and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery. He also designed new instrumentation for minimally invasive hip replacements.
