Israel Deaconess Hospital is one of only 13 Massachusetts hospitals to be named to Harvard Pilgrim's Hospital Honor Roll. The honor roll recognizes those adult, acute care hospitals whose performance was among the top 25% of those measured nationally on a set of composite quality and patient experience measures, as reported by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on Hospital Compare, and Leapfrog patient safety measures.
"Providing top quality care in a safe environment is our first priority at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham," said Penny Greenberg RN, MS, Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. "Our teams of nurses, physicians, and staff are focused on implementing the most current quality and safety measures to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients."
