Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham Announces Spring Speaker Series

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham announces the spring line-up for its successful Thursday evening speaker series at the hospital.

On April 21, beginning at 7pm, Depression. Susan Burton, LICSW, Program Director, Emergency Services, and Christina Vaszari, PsyD, Clinical Director of Emergency Services, both of Riverside Community Care, will talk about the prevention and treatment of depression in teens, adults, and elders. Riverside Community Care and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham are partners in mental health care.

On May 19, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kathryn S. Grannatt talks about sports injuries, From Little League to Major League. Dr. Grannatt is the team physician for Needham High School. She specializes in sports-related injuries, knee and shoulder injuries, and minimally invasive surgery.

Then on Thursday, June 16, otolaryngologist Dr. Noah Siegel explores sleep problems, Snoring and Sleep Apnea. Dr. Siegal provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for all diseases related to the ear, nose and throat.

All three events are from 7pm-8pm at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, 148 Chestnut Street, Needham, in Conference Room B, just off of the Emergency Department entrance. All talks are free to the public and light refreshments will be served.
