The Campaign for the Nineties, a community-wide drive to help save and stabilize the Glover, raises close to $1.5 million. Staff physicians contribute more than $340,000 for the North I renovation campaign, which features a new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Services Center.
Renovations to North II expand space for a diabetes service center, a urological services center and phase II of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

On May 4, 1994, the Town of Needham votes to sell Glover Memorial Hospital to Deaconess Hospital.
"Trustees, hospital administration and the medical staff worked for years to determine the best course of action to keep the hospital solvent while honoring a trust to maintain it as the local healthcare facility."
