Volunteering
Volunteers are one of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham's most vital resources!
We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities that includes Patient Transport, Glover Café, Gift Box, Greeter Services, Friendly Visitor Program and many others.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and the minimum amount of hours of service required in order to volunteer is a total of 40 hours. (example: 4 hours, once a week for 10 weeks.)
As part of being a volunteer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham your are eligible to receive:
• A free lunch in the Glover Café (with a monetary limit)
• Free parking during volunteer hours
• Invitation to our Annual Volunteer Recognition Reception
• Reference letters to enhance college or work applications
• A great place to make new friends and have new experiences
We are fortunate to have a large core of volunteers who donate an astonishing amount of service hours to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham.
