Patient Family Advisory Council
Do you have advice to give Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital about patient care? We're listening. The hospital has established a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to provide a forum for patients and/or families to suggest improvements in quality, safety, communications and hospital processes.
"We know patients and their families can provide important perspectives, feedback, and solutions regarding the patient care experience," said Dorothy McWeeney, RN, Director of Health Care Quality and Safety. "So often it's the patients and their families who have the front row seats to how things are running and we want to hear from them."
If you would like to apply to be a member of PFAC, please fill out an application and mail to address listed, or by calling Elaine Rousseau, PFAC Project Leader, at 781-453-3761 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org
All applications will be reviewed. You will be contacted for an interview as membership positions become available. Applicants selected to participate as advisors will be considered volunteers of BID-Needham and therefore, must agree to protect patient confidentiality and submit to a background check before serving.
Our 2013 Patient and Family Council Annual Report is now available. To learn more about this group, please see our Work Plan.
