Chelsea Adds Two Orthopaedic Surgeons

Two orthopaedic surgeons have joined the roster of specialists at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare Chelsea, giving patients a convenient option when they need an evaluation or a follow-up visit. Both physicians are based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and now have regular clinic days in Chelsea.
“Making your way to a specialist can be daunting. We want to help patients get the care they need by bringing specialists to this community,” says Kelly Orlando, Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations at BIDMC. She adds, “When patients see a doctor here, they benefit from the resources and expertise of the larger medical center.”
For sports-related injuries and disorders of the knee and shoulder
Dr. Joseph P. DeAngelis is scheduling appointments on Thursdays. He joins colleague Bridget Quinn, MD, and will bring complementary expertise in orthopaedic surgery to the thriving practice, which is supported by experienced physical therapists on site. Dr. DeAngelis evaluates and treats a range of disorders of the knee and shoulder.

Dr. Kevin J. McGuire is scheduling appointments on Thursdays. An orthopaedic spine surgeon and founding Co-Director of the Spine Center at BIDMC, he joins Dr. Christine Peeters-Asdourian, pain management specialist, in bringing advanced spine care to Chelsea.
