Dr. Joseph P. DeAngelis , an orthopaedic surgeon, has joined the roster of specialists at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chelsea, giving patients a convenient option when they need an evaluation or a follow-up visit. Based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Dr. DeAngelis now has regular clinic days in Chelsea.

"Making your way to a specialist can be daunting. We want to help patients get the care they need by bringing specialists to this community," says Kelly Orlando, Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations at BIDMC. He joins colleague Bridget Quinn, MD, and will bring complementary expertise in orthopaedic surgery to the thriving practice, which is supported by experienced physical therapists on site. Dr. DeAngelis evaluates and treats a range of disorders of the knee and shoulder.
