Collaboration Between Neurology and Pulmonary Medicine

The Sleep Center is a collaboration of the Department of Neurology and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine that serves as a regional referral center and provides evaluation and care to patients with a variety of sleep disorders. Research programs include the use of new monitoring techniques and drugs to treat sleep disorders, interaction of human circadian rhythms with neuroimmune function, as well as basic research in the mechanisms of sleep and arousal. The Division offers an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Sleep Medicine.

The Sleep Clinic

The Sleep Clinic is a multi-disciplinary clinic, including neurologists, pulmonologists and psychologists, that provides care for patients with a variety of sleep disorders, including insomnia, daytime sleepiness, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and movement and behavioral disorders associated with sleep.
