Darlene Harrier, PT
Darlene Harrier is a physical therapist and has been at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since 1988. She has worked on a variety of inpatient teams, the home care service, and since 1996 has seen patients exclusively on the outpatient service. In addition, Darlene speaks Spanish.
Education/Training
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College.
Clinical Practice
Darlene’s practice focuses on providing rehabilitation to patients with neurologic impairments, working closely within the interdisciplinary teams for patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disorders and Parkinson’s Disease.
She has also been involved in community education through a variety of community lectures on fall prevention and “Ask the Expert” forums for Parkinson’s disease.
Professional Affiliations
Darlene is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students in the clinic.
