Alexandra Stillman, MD, has joined the staff as a neurologist with special interests in brain injury and rehabilitation. She has trained and worked with Dr. Alexander and developed special experience in the management of post-traumatic headaches.
Alvaro Pascual-Leone, MD, PhD, directs an extensive research team investigating the mechanisms of recovery from TBI and potential interventions to improve recovery.
Nancy Madigan, PhD, is responsible for neuropsychological assessments and some of the educational interventions that will emerge from the evaluation.
Dr. Madigan also supervises social work, doctoral students in Clinical Psychology, post-doctoral trainees at BIDMC in the assessment of psychological factors of the injury and implementation of symptom management programs individualized for each patient’s difficulties, providing short-term psychoeducational/psychotherapeutic treatment.
We are located in the Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and collaborate with colleagues in social work, the Headache Program, the Epilepsy Program, the Trauma Service, Neurosurgery Service and the Brain Fit Club to provide every aspect of appropriate care.
