Pulmonary Function Laboratory
The Pulmonary Function Lab performs spirometry, pre- and post-bronchodilator studies, lung volumes, plethysmography, diffusing capacity, Oximetry, 6-minute walk tests, MIP/MEP, Methacholine challenge, Arterial puncture for ABG, Hypoxic Altitude Simulation Testing, and Cardio-Pulmonary stress testing.
The Pulmonary Function Lab also provides education and consultation in the areas of pulmonary physiology and pulmonary function testing to medical students, house staff, fellows in training and staff physicians.
