Falls and Syncope Clinic
The Falls and Syncope Clinic is directed by Dr. Lewis Lipsitz, a leading researcher in these areas. The clinic is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients with falls and associated conditions such as fainting spells, walking difficulties, balance problems, dizziness, low blood pressure, and autonomic nervous system disorders.
The clinic works closely with the rehabilitation program at Hebrew SeniorLife to provide specialized treatment for gait and balance problems, muscle weakness, strokes, and other conditions. Home safety evaluations and exercise programs are also offered.
Dr Lipsitz was featured on CNN in August 2008 for his work with balance disorders. Click here to watch.
