As people grow older, they are often concerned about maintaining their health and ability to function independently. For this reason, many older adults choose to receive their health care from a geriatrician. A geriatrician is a doctor who specializes in promoting good health in people older than 65, and who manages health conditions that arise later in life, such as memory loss, osteoporosis, and incontinence.
