Working Side-By-Side with a Team
The majority of patients admitted to the general medical service have Hospitalist Faculty as their primary attending, who work side-by-side with a team of residents, interns, and medical students in direct patient care.
This model allows for teaching at the bedside, on work rounds, and in formal didactic sessions.
Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development
Hospitalist Faculty also have positions in educational leadership and curriculum development, with roles including:
