Comprehensive Care
Healthcare Associates offers a designated HIV program within its adult primary care practice. Comprehensive and coordinated primary medical care is provided by a multidisciplinary clinical team consisting of:
- Primary care providers
- Infectious disease specialists
- Nurse practitioners
- Psychiatrist
- Clinical social workers
- HIV case managers
Initial Appointment
During the initial appointment, the patient has a complete assessment by a primary care physician, infectious disease specialist, and an HIV case manager. At this appointment, the patient is also referred for any necessary specialist care.
Patients Appropriate for Referral
Patients who are HIV+.
