Joslin Diabetes and Pregnancy Program
The Joslin Diabetes and Pregnancy Program, which is a joint service of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Joslin Clinic, brings together a team of professionals who specialize in diabetes-including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse educators and nutritionists-to offer comprehensive diabetes and obstetric care and consultation services for women with diabetes. The team supplements the care of obstetricians and endocrinologists, and works closely with other Beth Israel Deaconess and Joslin departments, such as ophthalmology, neonatology, nephrology and genetic counseling. Services ranging from pre-pregnancy planning to postpartum care are provided.
