The women’s cardiovascular health program specializes in the unique cardiac health needs of women and is staffed by cardiologists and other providers who are able to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Program Goals
The goals of this program include evaluation and management of:
- Cardiovascular risk factors in women
- Treatment of heart disease in women, including:
- Pre-pregnancy risk evaluation
- Care of the pregnant woman with established cardiac disease
- Cardiovascular disease resulting from cancer treatment for various malignancies
