Signs and Symptoms

Some people with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome have:

  • No signs or symptoms
  • Just a few episodes of tachycardia
  • Rapid heart rate a few times each week

Signs and symptoms that you may experience include:

  • Chest pain
  • Dizziness
  • Light-headedness
  • Fainting
  • Palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Cardiac arrest (rarely)
