Symptoms

Asthma symptoms indicate that an asthma episode is occurring. Symptoms include:

  • Wheezing
  • Coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Tightness in the chest
  • Peak flow numbers may be in the caution or danger range (usually 50% to 80% of personal best)
