About Dr. Kang
My clinical focus involves seeing patients in the emergency department and teaching residents emergency ultrasound. In 2008 I became the residency's first emergency ultrasound director. As the ultrasound director, I teach the core concepts on emergency ultrasound during clinical rotations, resident electives, and during didactic sessions, supervise hands-on ultrasound training in the department, and manage quality assurance to ensure that the residents and attendings continue to produce high quality, useful images that will help them in their daily practice.
