Our Team
The Pancreas Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides a comprehensive thoughtful approach to individuals with chronic or recurrent pancreatitis. Since 1991, we have developed a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with pancreatic disease. This includes medical, endoscopic, radiological, and surgical approaches.
All aspects of pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer are addressed with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pancreatitis. This includes an initial extended and detailed office visit with you and your family.
Our Physicians
The medical program is under the direction of Steven D. Freedman MD, PhD and co-directors Sunil Sheth MD and Alphonso Brown MD, M.Epi .
Our Nurses
Our compassionate nurses are at the center of each patient's care. Both nurses, ClemenTina DiMonda, RN and Deborah DaSilva, RN are heavily involved with not only the clinical care of Pancreas Center patients, but also the research happening within the center. They work side by side with patients to truly understand their indivdual condition, guide them through each stage of their care, and to bring the latest from research to the patient's bedside.
