Community Relations

Mission Statement:   The Office of Community Relations is committed to advancing the health and well being of our local communities as an important part of the mission of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The Office works with partners from the community to ensure that we are a good neighbor who fulfills our responsibilities as a corporate citizen. The power of education, outreach, capacity-building for health care services, and regular review of policies are all tools that the Office uses to support the health of patients and the communities in which they live.

The Office of Community Relations has many long standing relationships with various agencies and organizations throughout the Greater Boston area. A sampling of some of the important work and partnerships that BIDMC has in and around Boston include:
