The Boston Foundation, Bowdoin Street Health Center Team Up for Healthy Food Access Project
The Boston Foundation has awarded the Bowdoin Street Health Center a three-year, $270,000 grant to support its efforts to improve access to fresh produce and other healthy food choices for residents of Dorchester’s Bowdoin/Geneva section. Read more about our healthy Food Access Project

From Sow to Grow
On May 10th, 2010, the 8 Healthy Champions from BSHC launched their Community Gardening Project in a two-part kick off event. The first day’s festivities consisted of everything from mapping out garden plots to planting the first seeds in styrofoam cups, and the second day welcomed friends, families, and Health Center Staff to some fun in the sun at the first annual garden “Dig Day”.
