Multidisciplinary Care
Surgical oncologists work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and other health care professionals, including medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and nurses, to develop individualized treatment plans.

As a founding member of the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC), Beth Israel Deaconess is part of the largest cancer research consortium in the world, with access to a broad array of the most current clinical trials.
