Video (Laparoscopic Nephrectomy)
This short series of video clips illustrates the laparoscopic removal of a tumor from a patient's right kindey, performed and narrated by our surgeon, Dr. Andrew Wagner. This is known as laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, and is indicated with tumors that are less than 4 - 5 cm in diameter. Laparoscopic procedures are minimally invasive surgeries that are performed through small incisions as opposed to larger and more invasive incisions used in traditional procedures.
