Pigmented Lesion Clinic

The Pigmented Lesion Clinic is a screening clinic based in the department of dermatology that works in conjunction with the Cutaneous Oncology Program. It is the only Pigmented Lesion Clinic in New England utilizing total body digital photography for patients' pigmented lesions.

The clinic provides initial consultation for patients who are at high risk for melanoma, or with history of melanoma, particularly individuals with a large number of atypical moles. Digital total body photography or regional photography are taken after initial consultation and used as an objective baseline data at each visit to identify and track atypical lesions over time. Digital photos are taken by a trained professional photographer after consultation visit.
