About Our Jamaica Plain Primary Care Practice
The BIDHC-Jamaica Plain primary care practice is a culturally diverse practice that offers a full spectrum of treatment with a particular focus on preventive care. Our Jamaica Plain primary care physicians (PCPs) remain dedicated to fulfilling patients' needs including same-day appointments for ill patients with an urgent need.

Special Services Offered at Our Jamaica Plain Primary Care Location
The BIDHC- Jamaica Plain primary care location is open Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The office is open for calls during the lunch hour. An answering service will page a BIDHC affiliated physician who is on call throughout the weekend and after hours if urgent care is needed.
The practice does offer lab services for any Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare patient (with a lab order from a participating physician). It is open Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. and Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
The health center's services also include Spanish-speaking receptionists, medical assistants, and physicians.
Helpful Tips for New Patients of BIDHC - Jamaica Plain
Individuals looking to find a new PCP or doctor of internal medicine in the Jamaica Plain area are encouraged to contact our medical center. In order to expedite the registration process, please have health insurance information available when you call. If possible please send your medical records prior to your appointment; otherwise bring them with you on your first visit. Partnerships with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham mean that you will have access to world renowned specialty care when you need a referral.

For patients requesting insurance referrals, please provide us with the following information:
- The patient's name and date of birth.
- The specialist's first and last name, as well as the phone number to his/her office.
- Please also inform us of the reason for your visit to the specialist, along with the date of the scheduled appointment.
- Also, please be sure we have your current medical insurance information.
Location and Directions to Our Jamaica Plain Primary Care Practice
The BIDHC- Jamaica Plain primary care practice is located at 545A Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 on the first floor of a red brick apartment building. There is limited parking in the back of the building and ample on-street parking. You may take #39 Bus Route if you are using the MBTA.
